You don’t need to be an entrepreneur to follow your passion. Please meet my guest Matthew Taylor. His passion started about 17 years ago and funny enough, his passion is about one of our biggest fears: public speaking. Yet for Matthew it wasn’t about public speaking, it was all about speaking with impact.
It is amazing what passion can do. For Matthew, it resulted in joining Toastmasters and being able to deliver his message with impact as well. And now he loves to inspire others. Listen to his story and maybe it will change your thoughts about public speaking as well.

“I wish there was more me around 18 years ago when I started” – Michael Laidler
A great quote and when you listen to the episode, you’ll understand. Please welcome my guest Michael Laidler, a former police officer, that has made it his purpose to help first responders dealing with mental fatigue and building a healthy mindset.
When we were young, a lot of boys wanted to become a police officer. Michael is no exeption to that. Except, he actually did it and went for it! His interest was triggered by the arrest of O.J. Simpson, back in 1994, with the famous Ford Bronco chase.
At the age of 19 years old, he entered the law enforcement industry as a police officer in Tallahassee, Florida. In the following 18 years, he built up some great expertise in different roles, leading to launching his own company in 2017, Michael Laidler Unlimited. He is on a mission to impart the necessary personal development skills for first responders to operate at full capacity in any situation.
Since we’re both in the mindset work field, we had a great conversation and I truly believe it is important what Michael does. Listen to his story and become inspired as well!

“Where there’s a Wils, a better way will be” – Erwin Wils
This time no special guest, just me, myself and I: Erwin Wils. Founder of PowerMindCoach, Millionaire Life Strategy and this wonderful podcast Follow your Passion. Creator of the signature coaching program “Profitable Passion Program™” and the “Profitable Passion Inner Circle“. Because I also follow my passion and want to inspire you to follow your passion as well.
Erwin Wils MSC
As some of you might know, I have a background in tech. In 1996 I graduated university (TU Delft) as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on control engineering. I’m what they called a left-brainer. I started my career in the corporate world as a helpdesk emplyee and changed roles and companies a lot in the following 21 years. Each time I changed role, I did it to grow and develop myself and find ways to deliver my added value. I found the biggest joy in optimizing processes and each step I took, brought me closer to doing that full-time. I never intended to become an entrepreneur, I followed the traditional path: do your best at school, get a degree and get a job.
Entrepreneur Erwin Wils
In 2015, my entrepreneurial journey started. After the first weekend of my first hypnotherapy training (March 2015), I knew I wanted to do this for a living someday. What I thought to be somewhere between 5 to 10 years, became 2 years. In February 2017 I was fully self-employed. That vary same year I changed my focus from hypnotherapy to coaching, from national to international and I invested in my first business coach. My whole entrepreneurial journey has definitely transformed me as a person. In a positive sense.
My future self
If you ask me where I see myself in about 5 years time, my answer would be:
Having an international coaching company
At least 5 coaches working for me
A full equipped back office taking care of all the administration, social media, etcetera
Myself on international stages, sharing my story, inspiring the audience and making them take action to follow their passion.
Will this happen? Definitely! It’s not a matter of “if”, it’s a matter of “when”. I know what I’m capable of, and I know I’m even much more capable than I currently think. I don’t think I can do it, in my mind I’m already there. That makes a huge difference.
I had all kinds of limiting beliefs. By working on my own mindset, I have overcome all those limitations and I am still learning and growing. I’m truly enjoying the journey of self-discovery. Investing in a coach was my best decision ever. I hope my story inspires you to follow your passion as well.

“The people that I’ve worked with so far, we share a passion of the craft” – Michelle Danner
Please welcome my guest, acting authority and director Michelle Danner. With over 30 years of experience, Michelle hasworked with many A-List Actors privately and on set such as Gerard Butler, Penelope Cruz, Andy Garcia, Salma Hayek, Luke Wilson, Emily Van Camp, Donald Sutherland, and Chris Rock.
In 2006, she directed her first movie, starring Jason Alexander, whom I’ve met in 2018 as well. This year she released “Miranda’s victim”, starring an A-list cast as well. The movie is about the riveting true story of the creation of the Miranda Rights told from the perspective of the victim. Her courage that intersects with one crucial moment in history makes this incredibly timely and compelling. Not officially released yet, but touring the festivals.
Michelle is also a very proud mom of 2 sons. Her oldest son is making moves to follow her footsteps, entering the world of movies as well. Her youngest son is more into sports, and that’s great as well! she just wants them to do what they love to do, just as she has a passion for acting.
Michelle is very down to earth and passionate about her business as well as her 2 sons. She takes pride in both her sons as well as all the actors and actresses she has trained, because she consider them all part of the (acting) family. Just listen to the episode and let her passion inspire you too!

“I started thinking about the soul of the business” – Shannon Villalba
Please welcome my guest Shannon Villalba, the heartsong lawyer. I love how she calls herself an accidental entrepreneur, because I never had the ambition to start my own business either. It all started when she wanted to help her parents and one thing led to another. And now she runs the successful Villalba law firm, helping entrepreneurs to protect their business.
I also love how Shannon was able to combine the spiritual with business. It’s a combination that I haven’t heard of before, and that’s why I like it so much. Shannon is very down to earth as a person, yet that doesn’t mean you cannot be spiritual. It all started when she had a little epiphany and started thinking about her business as an entity and the soul of the business. That’s how she created “The Heartsong Chakra Framework“, mapping the seven chakras to building a solid business. And when you hear her explanation, it makes perfect sense!
Listen to Shannon’s entrepreneurial journey and be inspired by the wisdom she shares in this episode.

“Writing was my escape from depression” – Randi-Lee Bowslaugh, RB Writing
Please welcome my guest Randi-Lee Bowslaugh, founder of RB Writing. Randi-Lee started writing when she was just 14 years old. At least, that’s the official age she uses as a start. After her first book, Randi-Lee wrote another book, and another book. However, those books were no sequels to the first one, but stories over different events happening in her life. You can say, pretty intense events.
Dealing with depression, an addicted brother that died and a xhild with special needs aren’t events that happen to everybody. And somehow, it happened to Randi-Lee. I wonder why.
Yet Randi-Lee is still a very positive person, It is admirable how much she has endured. And then again, she is a special person. I mean, who combines being open and vulnerable with kickboxing? Not just as a hobby, but at national level, winning prices as well!
She has a passion to let her readers know they’re not alone, giving them support through writing and speaking. I hope Randi-Lee will inspire you too.

“No matter how simple her clothing is, like jeans and a white t-shirt, the shoes will make the difference” – Michaela Vybohova
Please welcome my guest: supermodel, entrepreneur and founder of the shoe brand “Michaela V” Michalea Vybohova!
Michaela was born and raised in Slovakia, dreaming of being a part of the fashion industry since she was a young girl. She looked up to designers and watched runway shows constantly, but she couldn’t afford anything from that world.
At the age of 16, Michaela was discovered by a modelling agent and soon after, her international modelling career started. She became a sought after supermodel, appearing on the front cover of some of the best known fashion magazines of the world and on the glossy pages of many more (you can find enough examples on Google).
But Michaela is not just beautiful as you can see when you’re watching the video. She is smart and passionate about fashion. She realized after several years of modelling, that she wanted to executer her own creative vision. Through modelling, she learned about the design process from the inside out and her dream was to create something unique, that blends the 2 worlds of style and qality, all while being affordable.
And the shoe brand “Michaela V” was born. I had a very open and honest conversation with Michaela about the world of modelling and entrepreneurship. It’s not all glamour, it’s hard work and she is the perfect example that when you persevere, you’ll make it to the end. I found her to be very authentic and that’s how she will make a difference. I wish her all the best with “Michaela V”. Hopefully she will inspire you as well!

“Imagine this, you’re 12 years old and you buy the bicycle of your dreams”- Marco Robert
Welcome to season 2 episode 2 of the Follow your Passion podcast! My guest of today, Marco Robert, is a very special one. He is one of the coaches that made a huge impact in my business and that’s why he is still one of my most favourite coaches. His clienst call him the business disruptor and I understand why they call him like that.
We first met in Anaheim in 2017 at a business event. About 10 minutes before I was going on stage to be interviewed in front of 2,500 people from 71 countries, we had to come up with a new introduction. My contact introduced me to coach Marco and in about 5 minutes he summarized what I was all about. That day I got introduced to the work of Napoleon Hill and I had a great interview. And the funny thing is, even though Marco has helped many, many clients, he also still remembers that moment.
And now I’m honoured to give coach Marco the stage. His own entrepreneurial journey started at a very young age. His parents bought a restaurant and he joined them and started working for them. Relatively to his age, he took on a huge responsibility and Marco succeeded big time. With his first earned money he bought the bicycle of his dreams and that launched his entrepreneurial journey. Listen to his amazing story and be inspired!
