Nellie Akalp

Please welcome my guest Nellie Akalp, CEO of CorpNet.com, the company she started with her husband Phil. Nellie and Phil are business partners and have four children. They met in undergraduate school and after graduation at law school they worked odd jobs, but knew they didn’t want to go for the traditional route of working at a law firm. 

So in 1997 they took $100,- and started their first busines. Going after their passion to help other entrepreneurs to succeed, they launched an online legal document filing service where they completed paperwork to form LLC’s and corporations. They sold their business in 2008 for $20 Million and in 2009 they decided to get back in the industry and launched CorpNet.com.

With CorpNet.com Nellie and Phil continued to help other entrepreneurs succeed by forming LLC’s, registering trademarks, processing sales tax registration, and much more. And they’re doing a great job, because Corpnet.com is currently in the better half of the Inc5000 list, and rising.
