“I was raised and educated to be of service to others” – Paul Dillon
Again a wonderful guest in this episode of the Follow your Passion podcast. Paul Dillon retired as a consultant from the McGladrey accounting firm in 2006. Upon his retirement, he reinvented himself by starting his own firm in Chicago, which is now devoted to helping veterans who want to start their own business.
Since Paul is a former US Army Reserve 1st Lieutenant, who fought in the Vietnam war, he knows his clients very well. He has launched several initiatives for veterans and he also created a course and teaches on veteran’s issues at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University.
In his own words: “I was raised and educated to be of service to others, and now have channeled that effort in helping veterans who want to start their own business. While my business didn’t start out with that in mind, I found that helping veterans was my true calling”.
